4.3 – Motion in one direction

A teacher day off:

Ms. Williams has a day off and has some errands to do for herself and will be meeting friends for a movie later.  She starts at home and drives to Family Dollar near her house. The store is 1 mile away and takes 3 minutes to drive.  She then drives to her favorite teacher supply store, Dollar Tree.  This trip is 3 miles from Family Dollar and takes 10 minutes to drive.  Now she is looking forward to meeting her friends at AMC 12 for a 2-hour movie.  From Dollar Tree it is 5 miles to drive and takes 10 minutes.  After the movie she drove home. The final trip home is 5 miles and takes 10 minutes with traffic.
